The President of the Board of Directors of the SFA, appointed member of the National Commission for the Social Economy
The Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity signed the order for the appointment of representatives of social enterprises and social insertion enterprises within the National Commission for Social Economy.
Among the new members of this commission is Mr. Bogdan Merfea, President of the Board of Directors of the Social Finance Association (SFA), a promoter of social banking, with over 20 years of banking experience, of which over ten years in positions of top management. The experience in the banking system was also supplemented with relevant experience in the field of microfinance and non-governmental organizations. His appointment is also a recognition of the effort to develop financial instruments, which will contribute to the easier access of social economy operators to financing.
Along with Mr. Merfea, the following experts were also appointed to the commission:
Andreea-Roxana Chiș – representative of the Maramureș Food Bank Association
Angela Achiței – representative of the social inclusion enterprise SC Utildeco Group SRL
Roxana Damaschin Tecu – Representative of the social inclusion enterprise SC OilRight SRL
The National Commission for the Social Economy plays an essential role in coordinating and promoting the social economy at the national level, providing a favorable framework for the development of social enterprises.
